Make your old clothes a bit more special with the lovely Iona.  Pop along to these free taster sessions and give your clothes a new lease of life.  7pm, The Lane Bar on Ashton Lane

    • The Guesthouse at An Clachan

Drop into An Clachan Cafe to take a wee breather from your life with Tom Binns, offering an introduction to ‘Listening through the Body with Art’.  Sense a little deeper and begin exploring your inner landscape in a creative way.  There will be playdoh, pastels and playfulness.  Ideal for parents.  11am-4pm, An Clachan Cafe

    • The Tempest

Part of Scotland’s biggest and best-loved Shakespeare Festival.  On a remote island, Prospero, once Duke of Milan and now a powerful magician, awaits the arrival of his enemies and his chance to wreak revenge and put right the wrongs of the past.  A beautiful and haunting play filled with magic, laughter and drama, The Tempest kicks off the ‘Brave New World’ season with a bang.  7.45pm, Glasgow Botanic Gardens
